Publication: New Histoire sociale/Social History issue, directed by Marc Calvin-Lefebvre and Sharon Crozier-De Rosa

We are very pleased to announce the publication of the November issue of the international bilingual journal Histoire Sociale/Social History, co-edited by Sharon Crozier-de Rosa & Marc Calvini-Lefebvre: Sites of Feminist Memory: Remembering Suffrage in Europe, the United States, and Australasia.

It comes a little over two years after our slow international e-conference entitled Sites of Feminist Memory: Remembering Suffrage in Europe and the USA, at which Sharon delivered the keynote speech. A number of papers presented at the conference, by Claire Delahaye, Nicole Cadène, Maria Gruner (then)/Kupfner (now), Einav Rabinovitch-Fox and Angela Shpolberg are published alongside new work by Sharon, James Keating and Clara Vlessing. The issue is bookended by an introduction co-written by Marc and Sharon and a forum which was chaired by Claire Sorin and in which Marc discussed the promise and limits of digital mapping for historians of feminism with Lucy Delap (Spare Rib Map) and Sarah Richardson (Mapping Women’s Suffrage 1911).
